Thank you for posting this video. As an Avon resident it is obvious that something should be done with the road in question. I think one of the problems is when you give it to people who have very open minds and open pocketbooks the sky is the limit to what they can come up with as a solution to the problem. The problem is not safety as it's been discussed that accidents are very few and speed is normally very low. But the condition of the road and the bridges are what should be addressed as opposed to making a whole new road that transforms this one and only unique Rd. that enters into our town. There is not one retaining wall on the road as it stands and would not be necessary if the road is only widened 5 or 6 feet. As far as a trail Avon has trails enough without spending millions of dollars on the very few people who would use such a pathway. My suggestion is as one of the women suggested is that we widen the road (5-6 feet) and the bridges and resurface the road to make it like new.

Jenn Mizia did a wonderful job of explaining the need to protect safe spaces for all students in the school system without compromising the safety, modesty, and integrity of traditional histories and thinkings. There has to be better thought out solutions for these matters without the state legislature cramming down its agenda’s. Please come up with better “best practice for all” for our Avon kids!!
